Managing Director from 2010 and elected CEO in 2022. Responsible for ME Green overall operations: Policy & High Level Planning, Directing, Delegating and ensuring the implementation of strategic activities and penetration of new markets. He is an active member of RDCL and involved in several environmental initatives.

Gilles de Clerck is the Co-Founder and Executive Partner of the EuroMena Fund Management Team since 2005. He chairs and sits on the board of several companies in the MENA region. Mr. de Clerck has more than 20 years of experience in strategy and finance, of which more than 6 years spent in the MENA region with Booz Allen & Hamilton (now Booz & Co) in the restructuring and privatization programs.

He worked in France as a Senior Manager with Vertone, a leading French strategy & management consulting firm. Prior to joining Booz Allen, he worked with L’Oreal in the UAE as an Area Manager and with Price Waterhouse Coopers as an auditor.

Gilles de Clerck holds a graduate degree from the ESSEC School of Management in Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the McGill University in Montreal. He holds a French Baccalaureate from the Grand Lycee Français de Beirut. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Maude El Khoury, Co-Founder of Me Green and the General Counsel of Sunset Hospitality Group, is an experienced legal professional with over 8 years’ experience in the MEA region specializing in commercial and corporate law. Maude holds Masters Degree in Corporate Compliance from IE university and she was nominated for the 2023 LexisNexis Women in Law Awards for the Middle East Legal Counsel of the year category.

Damien Jacquinet, co-founder of ME Green, is an esteemed entrepreneur and investor with a track record of founding and scaling successful businesses. He established Nida-Core Corporation in New York, transforming it from a startup to a leader in the composites industry, with a significant presence in multiple countries and a remarkable growth rate. His entrepreneurial ventures extend to the hospitality sector with the co-founding of 431Broome LLC, which operates the highly-ranked The Broome hotel in New York City.

In the composites field, Jacquinet also co-founded Solve Composites LLC and led the acquisition and sale of Structiso, further showcasing his expertise in this industry. His ventures into luxury goods include co-founding Golden Toe, a luxury shoe company, and his real estate venture, Serapi sprl in Belgium.

Jacquinet's investment focus is on projects with a technological edge, particularly in sectors that improve daily life, such as health, education, or environment. His role in ME Green reflects his commitment to sustainable technology and environmental solutions, leveraging his vast experience to contribute significantly to the renewable energy sector.

Nader is a business professional with an MBA from INSEAD and a background in mechanical engineering. With over ten years in business development, strategy consulting, and project engineering, Nader focuses on integrating sustainable development goals into corporate strategies and developing business practices that are both eco-friendly and responsible.

Thierry Laulom, co-founder of ME Green, brings a diverse and international perspective to the team, thanks to his extensive experience in private equity and management across various sectors and regions. His expertise spans new technologies, services, and key industries like food, healthcare, and renewable energy, reflecting a comprehensive understanding of global markets and trends.

Managing the financial actions, tracking analyzing strengths/weaknesses in the company finances and overseeing all aspects of its financial success. Managing Partner of Gray Matter, Beirut based advisory Platform where he offers financial and strategic consultancy services to large corporations. 12 years of experience in Equity firms like Colony Capital, Edge Capital & Telegraph Capital Partners. He is on the board of Directors in many companies like the National Commission for Lebanese Women (“NCLW”). He is a holder of a PhD in Finance, a bachelor degree in management from Saint Joseph University and master’s degree in Management from École Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) in Lebanon, and a Masters in International Affairs from Poitiers University in France.
