With the economic crisis, electricity has become a luxury in Lebanon. Due to a lack of credit to buy fuel oil for its power stations, the national supplier is drastically rationing power. Exasperated with having to resort to private generators that are very costly in terms of fuel oil and pollutants, many Lebanese and also companies are investing in solar panels.
